This intimate documentary traces the life and career of legendary -- and polarizing -- film critic Carlos Boyero, who over four decades became one of the most followed and feared figures in Spanish cinema. Hounded by controversy since publishing his first article, Boyero has remained in the eye of the storm ever since. But as film criticism enters an increasingly digital realm, Boyero could be the last representative of a disappearing time. On the tail end of his long career, the documentary follows Boyero through the 2021 San Sebastián International Film Festival, his last before retirement.
