Sometimes, the only way to stop a madman before he kills again is to get inside the mind of a monster and think like he does. Cops go head-to-head with the most dangerous and deadly criminals in one-on-one battles of wits, and only one of them will win.
In 1994, Coppola alternates his nights between El Cielo and Trumps, night clubs owned by his friend Poli Armentano. To deal with the rumors about Maradona's personal life, Coppola resorts to extreme measures. Everything spirals out of control when his friendship with Armentano ends in tragedy.
In 1996, Coppola is warned about a possible lawsuit against him. Secluded in his mother's house, he sees on TV that the police found a vase full of cocaine in his house, planted as evidence to undermine him in court. After being arrested, Coppola faces his darkest days with only two weapons: wax and bleach.
After Maradona almost dies from his addictions, Coppola accompanies him on a new attempt at rehabilitation on the island of Cuba. The prospect that lies ahead makes him rethink whether he made the right decision in the 1980s when he left a successful career as an agent for almost two hundred players to devote himself exclusively to being Maradona's manager.
