A shipment of carrots is flagged at the World Trade Bridge during an x-ray, and officers find packets filled with a mix of cocaine, meth and heroin -- pointing to gang involvement. In Progreso, officers catch two young women with pills, and at the Juarez-Lincoln Bridge, a wanted man triggers an alert.
Officers uncover a large arsenal of guns in the back of a car on its way to Mexico. Several officers suspect the weapons are headed for a drug lord. On the World Trade Bridge, officers discover Fentanyl hidden in a suspicious ice cream freezer. Meanwhile, Guatemalan immigrants are denied entry into Mexico at the Gateway to the Americas bridge. When officers find that they have worked illegally in the U.S., they must decide what to do. A truck driver transporting puppies across the border is under scrutiny. He claims they are family pets, but officers believe they are part of an illegal commercial operation. In Brownsville, officers detain a woman wanted by local police.
Border officers stop a man with two children he claims to be transporting for their grandfather. An X-ray leads to a $10,000,000 find. A traveler carrying over $10,000 is questioned in Laredo, and officers hold a belligerent drunk man in Progreso. An agricultural canine detects 50 pounds of illegal raw meat at the Juarez-Lincoln bridge.
Officers intercept an influx of methamphetamine smuggled across the border as the COVID-19 pandemic worsens addictions. In one day, they successfully seized $4 million worth of the drug. Other incidents include two brothers trying to smuggle prescription medication, a young man apprehended for a hit and run, and a group of men fined for attempting to bring prohibited food items across the border.
