Jessie

Series Premiere. English transplant Stuart Pritchard (Stephen Merchant) is a web designer who owns a house and has an attractive tenant named Jessica (Christine Woods), a struggling actress and aspiring web-series writer/director. After learning that a pretty ingenue (Sarah Wright) is going to the opening of a posh nightclub, Stuart gets on the guest list.

Wade hires a limo to win back his estranged wife. Stuart seizes the opportunity to travel around LA in limo style, with Wade and Kives in tow, and picks up three lady tourists. When Stuart learns that Jessica's actress/model friends are hanging out in his place watching art films, he decides to forgo a sure thing in favor of a night on the town with hotter prospects.

Stuart has an encouraging first date with a yoga-studio employee named Annie, but ends up becoming unhinged. Meanwhile, upset that her frenemy Amelia (Jenny Slate) got a major-film role, Jessica demands that her agent/squeeze Glenn score her an audition, pronto. After a slip in the shower, Wade institutes an emergency-alert system for his friends.

After learning that gay clubs are frequented by straight women, Stuart ditches Wade (who was coming over for movie night) to tag along with Jessica to a gay club. Jessica manages to get herself and Stuart invited to a dinner party. Back at Stuart's house, Wade is joined by Kives and they have a fun night of their own in Stuart's house.

Stuart plans an epic pool party in hopes that Kimberly, a model he recently met, will attend. Jessica finds inspiration in a homeless 19-year-old named Heaven.

Stuart bonds with some construction guys, who invite him for a night out in Long Beach with promises of his meeting easy women. Jessica gives Wade advice on how to win back Marion after 30 days of no communication.

Attending a wedding with Jessica and Glenn, Stuart tries to reconfigure the seating plan after learning he won't be at a table with attractive, single women. Meanwhile, Jessica waits to hear about her call-back audition for the lead role in a network show.

Stuart brags to anyone and everyone about his pending night out with Kimberly. Later, he drives Wade, Jessica and Kives around to some parties, including Amelia's birthday, where Jessica relishes that the tables have turned with Amelia.
