Just Another Quiet Day on Sesame Street

While Luis makes a coffee run, he asks Krystal to answer the Fix-It Shop's phone. While out and about, Luis sees Sam the Robot and Mr. Macintosh. When back at the shop, Luis get some inspiration to make something out of the metal he found in an old toolbox. He sends the kids off to play promising a surprise when they return. Once the kids return, Luis shows them what he made. It's a metal bird, and he suggests they go and show it to Big Bird. Meanwhile, Big Bird is playing a game of follow the leader with his grown-up friends. Snuffy secretly joins in on the fun without anyone noticing.

Episode 9

Cookie Monster's Cousin Apple Monster Visits

Cookie Monster is waiting for the arrival of his country cousin, Apple Monster, and asks Luis to keep a look out. Apple Monster arrives, and Luis is convinced that he is Cookie Monster in disguise with a scheme to obtain more cookies. Luis baits Apple Monster with a cookie, but he declines and instead wants Luis' apple. He eats it to the core. Apple Monster then finishes another apple from Hooper's Store and starts to dig in on the selections from Mr. McIntosh's fruit cart. Still not convinced, Luis and David offer more cookies, but Apple Monster declines. When Cookie Monster returns, he gladly takes the cookies offered to his cousin, and they were both pleased with the snacks given to them. Grover takes the job as an elevator operator in Oscar's trash can, but Oscar soon fires him.

Episode 10

A Cold Day on Sesame Street

It is windy and cold on Sesame Street! Big Bird and friends cannot stay warm. Maria suggests exercising to get warm. Her idea works! Big Bird exercises so much he gets hot and needs to cool off. Meanwhile, Oscar decides to prank his friends. Using a microphone and radio, he broadcasts a phony weather bulletin about a snowstorm. The adults realize Oscar is playing a prank! When Oscar is caught in his lie giving them advice on how to prepare for a snowstorm, he vows to make them think a snowstorm is really coming. He uses a block of ice, a fan and fake snow! The adults huddle and play along with Oscar's prank. After bundling up and getting a snow shovel, Maria decides they should ask Oscar why he created a fake snowstorm. As they approach his trash can, it really begins to snow!

Episode 11

Shoveling Snow on Sesame Street

There is fresh snow on Sesame Street! Oscar prefers when the snow is mixed with mud, garbage and soot. He saves a fresh bucket of snow to mix with mud and soot. Bob is unhappy he got dirty holding Oscar's snow bucket and dumps it out on the street. At that moment, a car drives through the mud and splashes Bob with it! Bob is frustrated to get mud splashed. He cheers up and sings and plays in the snow with the neighborhood children. They even go sledding! Bob also plays "Three of These Things" as he teaches children the difference between different kinds of shovels. Later, Susan finds her car buried in snow! Big Bird offers her tools to dig it out, such as an axe and a spoon. He finally gives her a shovel to dig out the car, but then another snowplow buries her car in snow again.

Episode 12

A Sesame Winter Wonderland

As Bob and Linda dig in the snow, kids see a "U," the letter of the day. Sherlock Hemlock helps Luis look for his lost pencil. Luis describes the pencil as yellow, and then long and thin. Sherlock Hemlock thinks it is Big Bird and then a baseball bat. Luis finally finds the pencil on his ear. Sherlock Hemlock believes he solved the case. As it snows, Bob sings "Snow, Snow, Snow," showing how he loves playing in the snow with his friends. Bob's friends sing along, shovel snow, gather on the stoop and throw snowballs. Oscar asks David for help putting a hat on to stay warm in the snow. As Oscar corrects him, David finally pulls the hat over Oscar's face, just the way he likes it. Inside Mr. Hooper’s store, David sees Luis and Bob singing "Three of These Things" with warm winter outerwear.

Episode 13

Big Bird Mails a Snowball

It is a snowy day on Sesame Street. Maria analyzes footprints belonging to David, Gordon and Big Bird. David's footprints lead to Mr. Hooper's store. Gordon's footprints lead to a path where he shovels snow. Big Bird's footprints lead to the mailbox where he is mailing a package to his cousin in Florida! Maria reminds Big Bird not to mail a snowball because it will melt. Instead, he is mailing an icicle. Maria and David see Oscar's new Dial-A-Grouch phone service and try it. They like the service as it makes them feel better when they have small problems! David and Maria realize that, no matter how bad something is, it could always be worse. Oscar was disappointed that his business made people happy, so he goes out of business. Later, as Bob pronounces a word, snow is dumped on his head.

Episode 14

Electric Company Meets Sesame Street

Early in the morning, Big Bird greets the viewers and says his job today is to make sure things are quiet for everyone who's still asleep. Then, Millie, the milk delivery person from Electric Company asks what's going on. Big Bird tells her. She thinks they will need more help to keep everything quiet. She loudly calls out, "Hey You Guys!" and she disturbs and wakes up many of the sleeping neighbors. She realizes her mistake, and splits. Next, a delivery man delivers stacks of newspapers to Hooper's Store as the Count counts to 1,253 newspapers! David is shocked to see this and wonders who could buy up all these newspapers. Easy Reader strolls by and purchases them all after reading the headlines "Gorilla Escapes from Electric Company" and "Naomi Found and Lost Again."
