Tyrant tells the story of an unassuming American family drawn into the workings of a turbulent Middle Eastern nation. Bassam “Barry” Al Fayeed (Adam Rayner), the youngest son of a war-torn country’s controversial dictator, returns to his homeland after a self-imposed 20-year exile in America for his nephew’s wedding. Upon his return, Barry is immediately thrown back into the familial and national politics of his youth. As he braces himself to confront the stark realities of his father and older brother Jamal’s (Ashraf Barhom) harsh rule, Barry is unable and unwilling to make his all-American family understand his unease over returning home. His wife, Molly (Jennifer Finnigan), struggling to comprehend her husband’s apprehension, uncovers a romantic history involving Leila (Moran Atias), Jamal’s beautiful wife. Emma (Anne Winters), their 15-year-old daughter, adores her father and shares his disdain for the extravagances of her extended family. Meanwhile, their son, 16-year-old Sammy (Noah Silver), revels in the lavish lifestyle their royal” status brings, but dangerously tests cultural divides with his poorly disguised interest in handsome family bodyguard Abdul (Mehdi Dehbi). Barry’s only warm memory of his childhood, boyhood friend Fauzi (Fares Fares), wants nothing to do with him. Fauzi is now a journalist, whose reports on the abuses of the Al Fayeed rule resulted in Fauzi's arrest and torture. Barry must now confront the life he once fled. Buddy showcases pride in his Italian heritage by making tribute cake for the Columbus Day Parade that's so big it requires forklift to lift! Lisa and Buddy get her six month ultrasound but will the news be okay?

Cake Boss: Baby Special

Buddy and Lisa prepare to welcome their fourth child, and get the bakery ready for one of the busiest days of the year, Valentine's Day. Meanwhile, the couple has to pick godparents, get the nursery ready and navigate a difficult breech pregnancy.

Pucks, Pastries and Pushy Grace

Buddy gets a request from hockey-lovers wanting a full-sized, arcade-style hockey table cake complete with moving figures that can be played. Joey and Mauro experiment with a classic Italian cookie recipe. And Grace is into everybody's business, again.

Staten Island Chuck, Strange Oddities and Sal

The crew designs a cake for "Staten Island Chuck," New York's official groundhog. Later, Buddy makes a topsy-turvy cake for a client based off Ripley's Believe It Or Not. Finally, the family pays tribute to Sal.

The bakery gets a visit from WWE Champion Santino Morella who orders a massive "Road to Wrestlemania" cake. A psychic gives Buddy a reading and asks for a crystal ball cake. And Grace has a zeppole meltdown when the pastries are not up to snuff.

Designer, Deadlines and Diagnosis

Fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi commissions Buddy to make seven fashion-inspired cakes that models will carry down the runway. Later, Buddy checks on construction of his new factory, then visits the doctor where he finds out he needs surgery.

Tulips, Taxes and Take It Easy

Buddy must create an eight-tiered flower cake for the Philadelphia Flower Show and a life-sized accountant cake in celebration of tax season. But will he be able to take it easy before he goes in for his hernia operation?

Second Anniversary, Surgery and St. Patty's

Buddy's chosen to be the Grand Marshall of Hoboken, NJ's St. Patrick's Day parade, but Joey has issues with the selection. Later, a couple orders an intricate second anniversary cake, but with Buddy away for surgery, will Mauro be up to the task?
