When special agent Magaly Castillo is sent to Morón de la Frontera to investigate the disappearance of American soldier Miles Johnson, her findings lead her to Sergeant Lucía Gutiérrez, who’s investigating a local teacher’s mysterious suicide and the distribution of a dangerous new drug during Holy Week.

While Lucía tackles a new case involving Samuel – a missing minor who was a student of Antonio’s – Victor questions a man under the influence of the new drug infiltrating the town. Then, when Magaly seeks Lucía’s help in tracing Johnson’s off-base activity, the pair follow a lead to a bar frequented by Americans.

As the Guardia Civil coordinate the search for Samuel, Victor and Leiva are sent to investigate Morón’s growing drug trafficking circle. Later, after finding that Antonio’s computer yields no clues, Lucía joins Magaly and her driver, Sgt. Andrew Taylor, to investigate a new lead in Johnson’s disappearance.

While María uncovers a virtual relationship between Antonio’s online persona "Shedo" and an anonymous "Okami," Lucía faces an increasingly complicated home life.

Haunted by his painful past in Montana, Andrew chooses to live a solitary life with a rigid routine of work and discipline. But when he meets a fellow airman and a Morón resident, his fate is irrevocably changed forever.

After Samuel’s motorcycle turns up, Lucía obtains valuable clues about his possible whereabouts and relationship with Antonio. Though Okami's identity remains a mystery, Hipólito offers help to Samuel’s brother Roberto, and Magaly suspects another military officer may be involved in Johnson’s disappearance.

While Victor follows a lead in the drug case, María discovers Okami's identity, and Lucía contends with a loss in her personal life. Later, Magaly’s investigation draws her closer to answers – and leads her down a dangerous path.

As the Guardia Civil deploy a search during the procession of Santo Entierro, Lucía and her colleagues race to find a volatile suspect amid the crowded streets of Morón.
