An Upper Rank Demon has been defeated after a hundred years, disturbing Muzan Kibutsuji. A recovering Tanjiro discovers he has upset the swordsmith Haganezuka by chipping his sword and decides to head to the village where the swordsmiths live to talk.

Tanjiro encounters Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Kotetsu, a boy from the village arguing over a "key." Tanjiro speaks on behalf of Kotetsu, but Muichiro refuses to listen. The key is used to operate a battle-type Mechanical Doll, Yoriichi Type Zero!
