On the heels of landing the role of a lifetime, former teen pop star turned actor Suzie Pickles learns she's at the center of a celebrity hacking scandal. Just as her best friend and manager Naomi reaches Suzie's place -- which is crawling with a photoshoot crew -- to do damage control, the compromising photos leak, and Suzie's seemingly perfect life implodes.

Despite now living apart, Suzie and her husband Cob attempt to maintain normalcy for their seven-year-old, Frank. Meanwhile, Naomi goes into full-on manager mode, convincing Suzie to fulfill a contractual obligation to appear at a sci-fi convention, where Suzie is ambushed by a journalist who triggers a destructive spiral.

The truth about the photos is out, leaving an already on-edge Suzie reeling as she faces increased pressure from Cob to bow out of the limelight -- just as their home address is leaked to the press. While the threat of a potential stalker reveals a new side of Cob, the police launch a haphazard investigation and Suzie reckons with the possibility of losing everything she's worked for.

When Suzie's personal shame gets in the way of a damage control interview, Naomi utilizes every trick in her arsenal to preserve her client's career. Later, Suzie deals with concerning behavior from Frank and sifts through her past of questionable choices.

Desperate to survive the scandal, Suzie turns to an unexpected source for guidance. Meanwhile, as Naomi continues to go to bat for her client, she receives some difficult news of her own. After Cob spends an unhealthy amount of time confronting internet trolls, he decides to take a turn on the wild side -- culminating in a showdown with Carter, the man behind Suzie's scandal.

With Cob returning suspiciously late from a school trip, Suzie convinces Naomi to join her for her sister's wedding, where family tensions go from bad to worse after Suzie learns of her father's plan to sell her out. Meanwhile, Suzie steps outside her comfort zone to prepare for a musical theater audition and Naomi finds herself at the mercy of Suzie's aunts, who are desperate to play matchmaker.

Suzie accepts a role in a theater workshop, but the director's unconventional methods threaten to push her over the edge. Desperate to save her dwindling business, Naomi attends a networking event hosted by Carter's wife. As the stressors continue to pile on, Suzie finally lashes out in a full-on celebrity meltdown.

Left with no viable career options, a fraught relationship with her best friend, irreconcilable problems at home and her intimate photos now splashed across newspapers, Suzie must finally face her life choices head-on.
