Nicolás and Iñaki arrive in Buenos Aires to launch Nicolás' new book. In CDMX, Charly, worried about getting pregnant, makes an impulsive decision. Fernanda moves forward with her independence while Rocío begins a maternity course to channel her anxieties. During a night in Buenos Aires, an unforeseen event shakes up the lives of the six friends.

Fernanda faces her new situation with Iñaki, who startles and attracts her at the same time. Charly is disappointed when she doesn't get pregnant, but Nicolás consoles her in the best way. Meanwhile, Rocío listens to her new friend Lucy's advice on how to break the marriage routine. Worried about taking a long time to get pregnant, Charly tries alternative methods and has a shocking revelation.

Charly decides to rethink motherhood, to Nicolas' bafflement. Diego prepares for an important casting while Rocío proposes to open their relationship. Fernanda and Iñaki are together as a couple again, with a less active sex life, but a more mature relationship. During a reunion party for friends, Charly receives the most unexpected news.

Charly and Nicolás are very happy to learn that they are going to be parents. They start looking for a bigger house, but they are immediately filled with the typical fears of that moment, which affects them as a couple. Fernanda feels confused by the relationship she has with Iñaki and Rocío faces her own contradictions as a mother and as a wife.

Charly receives a new job offer which she is very enthusiastic about while Nico hopes to edit a new book about fatherhood. However, Iñaki finds it difficult to support his friend's new publishing venture. Rocío faces a crisis with Juana, who makes her return to therapy. Her relationship with Charly and Fernanda suffers and the three friends have an unexpected argument.

The six friends are facing a crisis. Nothing seems to be going as they dreamed, whether at work or at home. Nico and Charly face economic hardships, Rocío and Diego feel increasingly distanced due to their differing priorities, and Fernanda is unable to resist the dynamics of her relationship with Iñaki and ends up entangled in her own desire.

Charly, Rocío, and Fernanda, together again, struggle with their respective existential and couple crises. Iñaki recognizes himself for who he is, and Diego accepts the implications of his choices as an actor. An old acquaintance of Nico's reappears, and he goes to meet her unaware of the consequences.

When she least expects it, Charly goes into labor. Meanwhile, Iñaki and Fernanda must make a decision that will define who they are as a couple. Rocío finds the support she needs in Diego. Faced with a newborn baby, Charly and Nico feel that their moment of truth has arrived.
