Poor Devil

After turning 665 months, Stan has only one month to fulfill his destiny to destroy humanity. At his birth month party, Stan's father Satan tells him to leave Hell for New York City to prepare for the coming Armageddon -- with his godfather Mefisto and cousin Samael, two expert demons, accompanying him as his guides. Seizing an opportunity, Stan takes advantage of the trip to pursue his acting dreams and goes to an audition for a commercial.

At a family breakfast in Hell, Stan undergoes an invocation and is summoned back to NYC. Worried about his son, Satan orders Samael to rescue Stan. Instead, Samael ropes in Mefisto, who already has another demonic mission helping a ghost complete a task that she left undone in life.

At a family barbecue, Stan and Satan have a father-son talk full of misunderstandings, leading Stan to unwillingly make a shocking pledge. While Samael goes with Stan on this adventure, Mefisto promises to help a vengeful bear at the zoo.

On Red Monday, an annual demon celebration of good deeds, Stan relishes the chance to spread some kindness, but nothing turns out as planned, and Mefisto decides to help New York's most wretched man.

After losing his protected silkworms, Mefisto embarks on a search and offers a huge reward. Meanwhile, Samael exacts revenge on her ex-boyfriend Surt, who is using Gaby to make her jealous. Later, a heartbroken Stan drowns his sorrows at the bar, where he meets a mysterious woman with ulterior motives.

Yearning to make it on his own, Stan hits the streets to find a job, leading Mefisto and Samael -- who don't have paying jobs either -- to also seek employment. After getting hired as a messenger, Stan finds his seemingly simple occupation turning into a bizarre space adventure.

Stan's neighbor René lives a depressing existence -- her roommate is a cryptocurrency investor "slash" recluse, and she works at a fried chicken joint while anxiously awaiting results of a medical test. Just when things seem like they couldn't get any worse for René, her life takes a dramatic turn.

As prophetic dreams torment Stan on his 666-month birthday, Satan orders Mefisto and Samael to make sure he fulfils his task. Though Stan doesn't want to let his father down, he also doesn't want to give up on his dream of becoming a musical theater actor.
