After the success of the smart patch "Hatch" presentation, Jaehyun gets touted as the presidential candidate. Meanwhile, his wife Taera regains her lost memory. Taera and her neighbor, Haesoo, pursue an unsolved case from fifteen years ago.

Taera cannot believe she is No.50, the killer who shot Haesoo's father fifteen years ago. Chaos ensues at Hatch as super chimpanzee Red gets killed. The three friends of Hatch start their investigation.

Jaehyun declares his candidacy for president, and Kim Seonduck finally appears. Taera gets thrown into commotion from her past and present. Worried about Taera not acting like herself, Jaehyun hires a bodyguard.

Haesoo cannot accept that Taera is No.50, the killer who took her father's life. Taera confronts Kim Seonduck and chases the person who manipulated her life.

Yura gets found dead, hanging on a tree struck by lightning. The townhouse turns upside down. Dojin, who had an affair with Yura, becomes a prime suspect. Soon after, Haesoo suggests Taera appear on her talk show.

Haesoo reveals Taera's identity on the talk show. In the meantime, Sungchan finds an unexpected item and becomes Taera's ally. Dojin realizes Haesoo's true feelings and decides to believe her. He starts uncovering Taera's past.

Taera learns her bodyguard Pilseung is her brother. She warns Kim Seonduck, but Pilseung's cold attitude only disheartens her. Kim Seonduck starts trailing Jaehyun, making him suspect the townhouse residents.

Pilseung confesses to killing Chairman Song and assassinating President Ko Taesun fifteen years ago. As usual, Taera tries to take the blame. Meanwhile, Dojin's heart sinks when he learns about the shocking past of Chang Kummo, his father.

Kim Seonduck meets his death in Taera's hands. Jaehyun takes Taera and runs away from the banquet while Haesoo discovers that Kummo abetted the case and becomes mad. Haesoo feels betrayed by Dojin for destroying the evidence so she reveals the truth.

Kyojin manages to escape from the Hatch laboratory, and the three friends of Hatch gather again. Meanwhile, Taera saves Haesoo from the verge of death. The two finally face the truth about what happened fifteen years ago.

Jaehyun is confused as he cannot read Haesoo's true intentions. Taera breaks into Sungchan's house as she and Kyojin try to stop Hatch's second presentation. In the meantime, Dojin gets furious when he discovers what Min Younghwee did to Kummo.

Taera and Haesoo cooperate in uncovering Jaehyun's weakness before the second Hatch presentation. Haesoo then plans to return to YBC by using Kummo. Meanwhile, Kyojin asks Dojin about the truth behind the incident with Sujeong seven years ago.

Jaehyun fabricates Taera's memories by inserting a chip into her, and Haesoo and Kyojin try to bring Taera back. Jaehyun then gathers Dojin and Sungchan by weaponizing the second Hatch presentation's success.

Taera gets injured while saving Jaehyun, and Haesoo hesitates to take revenge while Dojin decides to tell the truth for Haesoo. Taera looks Pilseung, who has gone missing. The presidential election finally begins, and the voting results are announced.

Jaehyun gets away with the Mokeum Temple fire incident and spurs the inauguration ceremony of the Transition Team. Together with Haesoo, Taera starts taking revenge for her brother. In the meantime, Dojin is released from the prosecution with Kummo's help and learns a secret.

Jaehyun desperately searches for Taera who vanished into thin air, but in vain. Taera is now with Kyojin, and everyone treats Jaehyun like a lunatic.
