Forced to quit the bassoon after an unfortunate incident at his school recital, Tom joins the baseball team, until questionable guidance places his latest extracurricular at risk. After Nelson fabricates a fundraiser to help him earn ice cream money, Tom learns a series of lessons in money management ... and ethics.

Tom faces a moral dilemma after learning the real reason the principal forced him to join the school's spelling bee team. After lying his way into Dakota's birthday party, Tom finds himself in a reckless alliance with her dad.

When a pretentious photographer takes some serious liberties on picture day, Tom's mom demands a reshoot, landing her son in the center of a revenge campaign. Coach finds himself in hot water after Tom blows an injury out of proportion.

When Tom sets up a lemonade stand to help his mom pay the bills, unwanted business advice from his neighbor's PR agency threatens the entire operation. After rubbing the lunch lady the wrong way, Tom scrambles to make amends and oust her replacement ... his mom.

At a baseball game, Tom's new shirt lands him in trouble with an opposing fan, but their attempt to find common ground becomes even more controversial than the teams' notorious rivalry. The bus driver helps Tom do damage control for his embarrassing reaction to a small classroom fire.

After helping the principal land a date with his mom, Tom and Nelson discover the magic (and madness) of blackmail. Adopting an elderly gerbil helps Tom realize that having a pet may not be all it's cracked up to be.

After Tom and Nelson pull one over on their aloof substitute teacher, Dakota dangerously ups the ante on their plans to cut class. Encouraged to stretch the truth on his lackluster campaign for class treasurer, Tom gets caught in his own web of lies.

After taking his title of roastmaster a little too seriously, Tom is recruited by the principal -- who's now questioning his future in education -- to help check items off his questionable bucket list. When Tom attempts to make the most of his only line in the school play, he's forced into a weeklong acting boot camp hosted by the playwright.

After producing an uncharacteristically brilliant drawing, Tom is tasked with saving the school's soon-to-be-defunded art program. While parents unsuccessfully conspire against a problematic soccer mom, Tom attempts to score his first goal of the season.

When the neighbors begin paying him in baked goods, Tom is convinced his afterschool job couldn't get any worse -- until a landscaper and his son move in. Surprised by his invite to the school nurse's wedding, Tom is tasked with more responsibility than he can handle.
