Naked and Afraid Spain

The adventure begins. Five pairs of complete strangers start the most extreme journey of their lives in five different locations in the Colombian jungle. They must reach an area suitable for building a shelter where they can survive during this challenge. They are provided with a map for orientation, a pot and each adventurer brings a cutting tool and a survival item of their choice. The first day promises to be terrifying. They are naked, unprotected and at the mercy of the jungle on this first night of hell.

The challenge has just begun and the jungle is putting each adventurer in their place. They barely get any rest and almost no pair has finished their shelter yet. Tensions are rising between teammates and the jungle claims its first victims. Additionally, the winds are warning of approaching storms. The adventurers are starting to realize the harshness of the challenge and that they must stay vigilant at all times: the jungle is full of dangers and predators lurking everywhere. Today, a participant will leave the adventure.

The first days of the challenge have been exhausting for the five pairs of adventurers. Even though they haven't been out there for a week, they are already suffering from fatigue, hunger and overall weariness. On top of the challenges of finding food and potable water, they must deal with venomous snakes, wild animals and ticks -- constant threats they must learn to live with. Rain and storms are also arriving. If they don’t manage to find shelter, they’ll be in serious trouble. The jungle has already claimed Sara and threatens to take more adventurers.

The bad weather has consequences for the remaining camps. The rains have driven animals out of their burrows, especially mosquitoes, the worst enemy of humans in the jungle. Mood swings, fatigue and hunger are evident. But resourcefulness sharpens when hunger bites, and the participants have embarked on a quest to trap, fish or hunt whatever is necessary to eat. Some survival strategies seem to be paying off, although some bring the presence of dangerous predators.

Lack of sleep, mosquitoes and the relentless passage of days are draining the participants. Being deprived of food for so many days causes nausea, dizziness and cognitive deficits. They must weigh whether the energy expenditure required to find food justifies the minimal caloric intake they achieve. This dilemma and the different survival strategies will begin to become a point of conflict among the pairs. Some participants are starting to consider abandoning their camp and finding another place to get some food and move closer to the extraction point.

The exodus has begun. Only seven days remain until extraction, but the adventurers have exhausted their energy reserves and ideas for finding food. Now, with the start of the rainy season, the true strength of those who remain is being tested. Only the truly resilient will be able to go beyond what is bearable to complete this challenge. Suffering, at times, is more powerful than willpower, and some are so demoralized that they are considering abandoning just before the final.

It’s time to start the journey back home. With just some days left before the adventure ends, three threats of withdrawal shake the camps of "Naked and Afraid." Meanwhile, the rest of the adventurers are trying to recover from one of the toughest nights of their lives. Those who decide to stay will head to a new location, seeking shelter for the remaining days until extraction. What they don’t know is that they will join other adventure companions there. What will happen when everyone comes together in one camp?
