Head Over Heels

Jakub hits Sarka with his bike and invites her to dinner by way of apology. Zuzana and Milan argue over his constant infidelities. Ema searches for love online.

Ema unknowingly corresponds with Milan on a dating website. Jakub's ex, Marketa, worms her way back into his life.

At Ema's insistence, she and Milan meet for the first time. Marketa reveals big news to Jakub. Zuzana gets a massage from Ema's friend Linda, a masseuse who finds herself attracted to Zuzana.

Ema and Milan continue to meet anonymously, in the dark. Sarka and Jakub try to stay friends, despite Marketa's jealousy and possessiveness. Zuzana and Linda edge toward a relationship.

Milan reveals to Ema that he's married. Jakub takes a job at the ad agency where Sarka works. Ema decides to get a nose job so she can emerge from the dark.

Ema's surgery doesn't go well and she slips into a coma. Co-worker Karel, who has a crush on Ema, visits her at the hospital daily, as do Zuzana and Linda. Meanwhile, Sarka begins a romance with an older client, Jiri.

Sarka brings her mother along with Jiri to a company dinner. Marketa uses the occasion to reinforce her status as Jakub's girlfriend. Milan can't reach Ema, who is still unconscious, and thinks he's been dumped.

Ema finally wakes up and Karel fills her in on what she missed. Linda is upset to learn that Zuzana still has sex with Milan. Sarka meets Jiri's children and grandchildren.

Ema finally sends Milan a photo and is hurt by his reaction. When she goes to Zuzana's house to cry her heart out, Milan shows up at home. Milan and Ema recognize one another but try to hide it from Zuzana.

Ema confides in Karel about Milan being Zuzana's husband. Sarka gets a visit from her long-lost father. Milan is so heartbroken over Ema that even Zuzana feels sorry for him.

Sarka gets acquainted with her father and quits her job. Linda wants more from the relationship than Zuzana is willing to give. Marketa, who is one of Zuzana's clients, makes trouble by telling her that Sarka is Milan's mistress.

Zuzana comes out to Milan and tells him she wants a divorce. Ema tells Karel that she's pregnant with Milan's baby and doesn't tell Milan. Marketa has a miscarriage. Sarka gets hustled out of her savings.

Jakub breaks up with Marketa. Zuzana and Milan agree to a separation. Ema finally realizes the depth of Karel's feelings for her and the two await the birth of her baby. Sarka and Jakub finally get together.
